The FMA organizes annual quiz nights to get staff away from their desks to having fun and learning about other colleagues in the industry. This is intended to be a fun event pitting member firms against each other. Each FMA member enters a team of up to ten staff to represent their firm. The winning team takes home a trophy and a gift voucher. Each year the Secretariat creates a challenging competition based on trivia from around the world, the East African Region and Kenya (none of it is based on financial analysis or investment management!). The 2016 event was extremely competitive in that we had a three – way tie for first forcing a “Golden Goal” question to determine the final winner.
