MOU between FMA & CMA on the Stewardship Code
News
The Capital Markets Authority appreciated FMA for the support in the implementation of the Stewardship Code especially by signing the MoU. A highlight of the MoU was made focusing on the collaborative activities between CMA and FMA including promoting the uptake of the Code by fund managers.
CMA reported that they are finalizing the development of sign-up forms that institutional investors will use to sign as an expression of their commitment to implement the Code.
CMA further stated that once the forms are ready, institutional investors will be due to sign up from January 2022.
